The functional purpose of the Real-Time PCR kit ALSENSE-SARS-CoV-2-RT-qPCR: it is designed especially for clinical laboratory diagnostics and research and is used for the qualitative determination of 2019-nCoV coronavirus RNA in clinical samples.
The working principle is based on a one-step real-time fluorescent reverse transcription PCR technology.
The purpose of the Real-Time PCR kit ALSENSE-SARS-CoV-2-RTqPCR is to use it when 2019-nCoV coronavirus infection is suspected (if you have symptoms like fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, cough (dry), sore throat, headache, or shortness of breath).
Sensitivity. The sensitivity is 100 copies/ml and five genomic equivalents in reaction.
The ALSENSE kit detects the following genes:
- 3 loci of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus ORF1ab gene and 2019-nCoV coronavirus S, E, and N genes.
The kits can process either 48 or 96 clinical samples. The package of Real-Time PCR kit ALSENSE-SARSCoV-2-RT-qPCR consists of all necessary reagents for RT-PCR, including internal control, negative control, and positive control.

The application takes place in clinical laboratory diagnostics and in research practice for the qualitative determination of viral RNA in clinical samples (the samples can be: nasal secret, nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab, sputum, endotracheal aspirate, bronchoalveolar rinse, rectal smear, plasma, human blood serum). This process takes place in specialized medical services and healthcare institutions.
